Professional Studio Environment & Right to Refuse Service

Madison Lancina Tattoo is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, inclusive, and professional environment for all clients and guests.

Harassment, discrimination, racism, hate speech, sexual misconduct, threatening behavior, aggressive conduct, intoxication, or inappropriate behavior toward the artist or others will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

The artist reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service at any time if a client’s behavior creates an unsafe, hostile, inappropriate, or unprofessional environment.

If a session is terminated due to client misconduct or violation of studio policies, the client may be required to leave immediately, and deposits/payments may be forfeited.

Deposits

  • A deposit is required to book all tattoo appointments.

  • Deposits are applied toward the final cost of the tattoo.

  • All deposits are non-refundable.

  • Deposits may be forfeited under the following circumstances:

    • Rescheduling with less than 72 hours’ notice

    • Same-day cancellations

    • No-shows

    • Failure to arrive within the allotted grace period

  • In the event of a forfeited deposit, a new deposit is required to reschedule or book a future appointment.

Rescheduling & Cancellations

  • Appointments may be rescheduled one time with at least 72 hours’ notice, and the original deposit will be applied to the rescheduled appointment.

  • Rescheduling with less than 72 hours’ notice forfeits the original deposit and requires a new deposit.

  • Same-day cancellations and no-shows result in forfeiture of the deposit.

Repeated last-minute cancellations or no-shows may result in refusal of future bookings.

Late Arrival Policy

  • Please arrive on time for your appointment.

  • Arriving more than 15 minutes late will result in a shortened session, but the price will remain the same.

  • Arriving excessively late may result in cancellation, with the deposit forfeited.

Appointment Lengths

  • Partial-day appointments include up to 4 hours of tattooing.

  • Full-day appointments include up to 6 hours of tattooing.

Unused time is not refundable and cannot be transferred to a future appointment.

Design Process & Revisions

  • Tattoo designs are typically sent 48 hours before your appointment.

  • Minor revisions are welcome prior to the appointment.

Minor revisions may include:

  • Small line or detail adjustments

  • Slight sizing changes

  • Minor placement shifts

Major design changes may require rescheduling and a new deposit, including but not limited to:

  • A new concept or subject matter

  • Significant style changes

  • Large size increases

  • Major placement changes

  • Any request requiring a complete redraw

Pricing Adjustments

Changes to size, placement, or complexity may affect pricing.

Multiple-Session Tattoos

  • Deposits apply to the first session only.

  • A new deposit is required for each additional session.

Health & Safety / Intoxication

If you are feeling unwell, please contact me as soon as possible.
Exceptions may be made at my discretion.

For health and safety reasons, clients may not be tattooed if they appear intoxicated, under the influence of drugs, excessively sunburned, ill, or otherwise medically unsuitable for tattooing at the time of the appointment.

The artist reserves the right to reschedule or refuse service if tattooing cannot be performed safely.

Guests

  • One guest is allowed.

  • Guests must be 18 years or older.

  • Children are not permitted in the studio.

Age & ID

  • A valid government-issued photo ID is required.

  • No exceptions.

Refund Policy

All tattoo services are final. Due to the permanent and custom nature of tattooing, no refunds will be issued for completed work, deposits, drawing time, or partially completed sessions.

Payment Methods

Remaining balances are due on the day of the appointment.

Accepted forms of payment:

  • Cash

  • Venmo

  • Zelle

  • Credit/Debit Cards

Healing & Touch-Ups

Healing results vary from person to person and are influenced by skin type, placement, lifestyle, immune response, and aftercare.

Following proper aftercare instructions is the client’s responsibility.

Complimentary touch-ups may be offered within one year for tattoos that have healed improperly under normal circumstances and proper aftercare. Touch-ups are not guaranteed for hands, fingers, feet, or other high-friction areas.

Additional charges may apply for touch-ups resulting from poor aftercare, excessive sun exposure, picking, scratching, or failure to follow healing instructions.

Artistic Discretion

The artist reserves the right to make necessary artistic adjustments regarding sizing, placement, composition, contrast, detail, and overall tattoo feasibility to ensure the best possible long-term result.

Not all tattoo ideas, placements, or projects may be accepted.

Photography & Social Media

The artist may photograph or record completed tattoos for portfolio, website, educational, or social media purposes unless otherwise discussed prior to the appointment.

Right to Refuse Service

Madison Lancina Tattoo reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service to anyone for reasons including but not limited to inappropriate behavior, harassment, discrimination, intoxication, unsafe conduct, repeated boundary violations, or failure to follow studio policies and instructions.

Agreement

Submitting a deposit confirms that you have read, understood, and agreed to all booking policies.
